MUSE Letter is a weekly email that contains an aggregation of various Museum Studies related announcements, reminders and the like, which is sent out on Tuesdays. If there is a week where there are no announcements, the MUSE Letter will simply not go out. Please note that the MUSE Letter is independent of the UTGSU Digest and is therefore emailed separately. Please be sure to read it to keep up with all of our events!
2. What if there is an announcement that cannot wait until the following week?
We understand that sometimes there may be great opportunities with fast approaching deadlines or sudden notifications of which students should be aware. In that case, MUSE Letter’s cousin MUSE Flash! will take over. MUSE Flash! is a brief and to the point email that may go out on any week day. Make sure to keep your eye out for it!
3. What if I want something included in the MUSE Letter?
If you would like to notify the student body about something that enriches the Museum Studies experience, please send it to mussa.ischool@utoronto by the end of Friday with the subject heading “MUSE Letter” in order for it to be included in the MUSE Letter on Monday. Content we deem unsuitable or against our mission will be declined with an explanation.
4. What if I miss the Friday deadline?
If you miss the Friday deadline, send us your content anyway and we will put it in queue for the next MUSE Letter. Since the purpose is to have a more organized email distribution system, your announcement might have to wait unless there are special circumstances (see Question 2).
